4. HS Code
An international code for identifying the type of goods; each item has a specific code that forms the basis for determining customs duties, permits, and restrictions.
5. CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight)

The total of the goods’ price, insurance cost, and freight charges to the destination port; serves as the basis for calculating customs duties on imports.
6. Import/Export License)
A permit required for certain specific goods, which must be obtained from relevant authorities to allow their legal customs clearance.
7. Customs Duties

The amount charged by customs for importing goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the CIF value of the goods.
8. Tariff
An official list of duties and taxes imposed on the import of each product. This tariff is published annually by the Iranian Customs.
9. Inspection/Quarantine
In some cases, goods must be inspected for health, technical, or standard compliance by relevant authorities before clearance.
10. Customs Bond
An official document for authorized imported goods entering the country via postal or air shipment with limited value.
